It is called RELOVE and gives new life to surplus garments, creating capsule collections of contemporary accessories. An evolution of Sample Lover, the platform dedicated to sample sales created by Rossana Ammaturo, which expands with a new initiative, bringing the zero-waste concept to another front. The heart of Sample Lover has always been sustainability, to rethink fashion in ethical terms. Without creating new production processes, the founder Rossana uses existing company processes to reduce waste as much as possible. Sample Lover allows to recover excess garments and bring them to the customer through sample sales. With Relove, she approaches the fashion-conscious theme from another point of view, focusing on upcycling: by directly taking the fabrics, she converts them into new pieces, giving them new value. From a garment missing a zip to one with a faulty print, passing through all waste and flawed materials, Relove seeks every scrap of fabric or excess garment, to then process them by hand thanks to the artisanal skill of Italian seamstresses. They cut and sew them, creating new products with no waste. The result? Always new capsule collections created hand-in-hand with the same companies from which the waste comes, giving life to everyday objects and accessories.

Every year, 92 million tons of "disposable" clothing are discarded into the environment, becoming toxic waste. only 1% of garments are recycled or regenerated. The Sample Lover project is based on a new concept of sustainability linked to retail: sample leftovers from brands are reintroduced into the market to support a circular economic model that avoids waste and gives new life to products that would otherwise be disposed of.
